Development of scintillation detectors with light collection via wavelength shifting light guides for TAIGA experiment

The TAIGA gamma observatory is continuing its deployment at the Tunka valley, close to lake Baikal. new, original detectors, able work under severe conditions of Siberia, were developed increase sensitivity for study gamma-quanta energies about 1 PeV and above. distinguishing feature detectors use wavelength shifting light guides scintillation collection on a photodetector. Several designs counters have been tested: equipped with PMT or SiPM photo-detectors, acrylic polystyrene based scintillators thickness from 5 cm detecting area 0.75 1.0 m 2 . data amplitude signal cosmic muons measured in different points within counter are presented. first 48 produced deployed 2019 experiment. They form 3 stations each 8 surface underground buried depth 1.7 m. After two winters, all working.
